As the first outlet in the eastern part of indonesia, the restaurant is designed to stand out with a dynamic concept

Inspired by the flowing trails of the sea water, design idea reflects the unique orderly yet chaotic parallel pattern of the moving water. loudness and softness of each line stroked with different strength, an active and dynamic pattern is formed and applied on the building’s facade.

As a response to the site which is located by the sea, the building is designed inspired by the orientation of a ship on the beach facing towards the ocean.

Ideas applied to the design is based on the corporate identity of McDonald’s itself. thus keeping the corporate image to the perception of customers; and the public in general.

The project was also nominated on Indonesian Architects Award 2011 in commercial building category.
